Announcing the New 2011-2012 CIVA Sourcebook

In late fall, 2010, CIVA will publish the 2011–2012 edition of the CIVA Sourcebook. The CIVA Sourcebook provides valuable access and exposure to a broad network of Christians at work in the visual arts including, but not limited to, artists, arts organizations, churches, collectors, galleries, publishers, and universities. To be listed in the CIVA Sourcebook your CIVA membership must be current as of June 30, 2010. If you are not a current member or if your annual membership will lapse prior to June 30, 2010, you must either join or renew your membership to be included in the 2011–2012 CIVA Sourcebook. To receive a copy of the CIVA Sourcebook, your membership must be current as of November 30, 2010. You can renew online at the CIVA store: http://www.civa.org/store/sourcebook/renjoinsource .

CIVA Sourcebook Advertising

CIVA invites you to place an advertisement in the 2011–2012 CIVA sourcebook. Advertising in this publication is an excellent way to introduce your institution, organization, products, or services to the largest group of visual artists of faith in north America, with connections to members in more than a dozen countries. The Sourcebook will be published in November 2010 and features:
-Contact information for more than 1,000 CIVA members
-Over 200 color reproductions of art work
-Tabbed sections featuring the products, programs, and services of dozens of arts ministries, colleges, designers, galleries, publishers, universities, and videographers.

Call For Entries for 7th Annual Evening of Arts & Entertainment

This juried show brings together visual artists, performing artists and filmmakers from around the world to Los Angeles, California to showcase their work. The types of art accepted ranges from all types of visual art and sculpture to graphic design, photography, short story readings, spoken word, dance, theater, short films and much more. The last six shows featured both veteran and emerging artists from around the world. Many CIVA artists participate each year. Alumni artists of the show have also shown at the Getty Museum, the Kennedy Center, and some have been commissioned by the White House.
Accepted artists will also receive a full scholarship to attend the Arts & Entertainment Institute, October 16 & 17, 2010 also in Los Angeles.

Submissions will be accepted from April 2 until June 25, 2010. The show is October 15, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
