Great publications once again in the CIVA Store

Faith & Vision: Twenty-five Years of Christians in the Visual Arts is the record of a generation or two of Christians who heeded the call to make art and, in doing so, accepted its manifold challenges, tensions, and affirmations. Between its covers, this book features more than 200 images that showcase the work of CIVA’s most accomplished artists and highlights the quality and breadth of its many exhibitions and publications. Publisher, Square Halo Books, was recently awarded a 2006 American Graphic Design Award for the design of this publication.

The Next Generation: Contemporary Expressions of Faith is an exhibition that started at the Museum of Biblical Art, but is now touring around North America. The accompanying catalogue with a superb essay by Dr. Wayne Roosa, along with the brilliant full-color reproductions of the work, is an essential book for any library. The books are now offered together by CIVA for the incredible price of $75.

"Like a Prayer: A Jewish and Christian Presence in Contemporary Art" is a full-color catalog of an exhibit at the Tryon Center for Visual Art, Charlotte. Four excellent essays are included by Ted Prescott, David Morgan, Ph.D., Terry Dempsey, SJ, and Ori Z. Soltes, Ph.D. The show was curated by Ted Prescott and represented in the show are many CIVA artists. A top seller from the CIVA Store this book is once again available for $25.
