Kathy T Hettinga

Kathy T Hettinga, Distinguished Professor of Art at Messiah College, received the BFA from Calvin College and the MFA from Colorado State University. She has taught at Indiana Purdue University, Colorado State University and has lectured extensively on her work.
Kathy has received numerous grants, awards, and fellowships; including an Indiana Arts Fellowship and a Research Fellowship at The Institute of Sacred Arts, Yale University. Her work has been exhibited widely in the US and abroad.
Her digital art and award winning design have been published in “Computer Pictures,” Siggraph's Visual Proceedings, “Graphic Design: usa,” American Graphic Design Awards Annuals, Like a Prayer: A Jewish and Christian Presence in Contemporary Art and in Virtual Morality: Morals, Ethics and New Media.
