The twenty etchings which make up the Florence Portfolio: Sacrifice, were created by six CIVA artists (Christine Anderson, Tanja Butler, Wayne Forte, Bruce Herman, Edward Knippers, and Duncan Simcoe) who lived and worked together in Florence, Italy during the summer of 1993. The prints are housed in a beautifully crafted wooden and stone presentation box (by sculptor Ted Prescott) which is also part of the exhibition. The suite is in the collection of the Vatican Museum of Contemporary Religious Art, the collection of the Grunewald Center for Graphic Arts UCLA at the Hammer Museum and several college and university collections. The collection tours continuously.
