CIVA’s role in the Church and culture
For more than twenty-five years CIVA has been poised at the forefront of a renewal of art created within a Christian context. CIVA has been a catalyst in this movement, developing a network of thousands of artists, art professionals, clergy, and laypersons throughout North America and abroad. Daily, many are finding out about CIVA for the first time, while others have come to expect that since CIVA has been around for decades it will be around for years to come.

Though CIVA is a membership organization, it serves as a resource to a much larger constituency. One reason some have not previously made donations to CIVA is that they do not recognize the financial needs of the organization. Membership income accounts for less than a quarter of CIVA’s annual budgetary needs, not even covering the costs of maintaining a small staff. It is critical that CIVA raise over $100,000 each year in contributions or grants in order to continue to produce award winning publications, conferences, workshops, and even this website. CIVA only exists as a valuable resource to thousands with your help.

How you can help
There are many ways that individuals and organizations can contribute to CIVA. You can find out about all of those options right here on this website. We invite you to consider how you may participate by giving monthly or one-time gifts to the annual fund or special projects. Donations are accepted through various methods, including on-line giving, credit cards, checks and directly deposited electronic fund transfers. You may also want to consider gifts of stock transfers or the inclusion of CIVA within your will.
